While I have always thought of Whole Foods as the pretentious grocery store and while I still think their items are overpriced I do think that it has its benefits.
There is a lot to take in for someone who has always shopped in budget friendly stores they do have some great fresh and prepared food options. There are a few specialty items I've looked for at other places and never found until now.
Their staff is friendly and do their best to help you find what you need. Some are more successful than others they do it with a smile.
My first time there I started out my with drinks and dinner at the bar. Their Kielbasa Pirogies were top notch and paired with their stellar happy hour drink selections I would say this is one heck of a way to start off your trip to the grocery store. I took my second drink "to go" as I wondered around the store shopping, the carts with built in cup holders made the experience that much easier and enjoyable!
Their prepared food section is abundant with choices, so much it can be a bit overwhelming. I spent almost 45 minutes trying to pick out what to put on my salad to accompany my delicious squash pizza.
For a great bite to eat or a stop for some unique and healthy meal choices this place is a great solution.
