  • All through college I loved shopping at Winners.. I spent a lot of time there and I had a bunch of friends working there.. (In Ottawa).. Now, after many years living abroad, I thought it would be nice to pop in to the place and see how things had progressed..Judging by this particular branch, I'd say not much has changed except for the prices having at least doubled,,, I was at another winners branch lately out in the West End and as expensive as it was, at least it was well organized and stocked, even during the craziest part of the Christmas Holiday season, This branch downtown however feels like some kind of chaos.. The place doesn't feel particularly clean and one gets the sense that there are more loss prevention shoppers than actual shoppers., Not only that, but I heard at least two intercom calls for "washroom checks" in a 20 minute period. They do have an excellent selection of spa and bathroom products at very reasonable prices, and its nice to have the mens and women's sections on different floors.. And that is about it
