Not my favorite Hawaiian place around town but they are conveniently located and seem to be close by when I am craving Saimin as they have four locations-
1.) South Decatur
2.) South Maryland Parkway
3.) East Charleston
4.) West Suset Road
What I do like is the diversity of the menu. The menu consists of a variety of Hawaiian, Filipino, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and American items (yes, there are cheeseburgers!). My favorite dishes from here are the Chicken Katsu, Saimin, Poke and Kalbi Ribs. If you want to try a bit of everything I would recommend the Aloha plate ($8.49) which comes with Chicken Katsu, teriyaki beef and teriyaki chicken. The adobo fried rice omelet ($7.69) is also another popular item.
Although it is not listed on their menu they sometimes have an Oxtail Soup which Filipinos call Bulalo. It is really good here and I recommend you ordering it if they offer it.
Today I was able to call in my order and pick it up on my way home from work. I was able to save time and skipped the long line and waiting at the busy restaurant.
