There is plenty of parking and an abundance of nice little spots you can find. I take my dogs here to socialize with new people and other dogs. There is a depressing sign about not eating too much of the polluted fish. I don't want to promulgate junk science - even though fish aggregate pollutants as they eat other fish and plant matter - how much harmful exposure do you get from swimming in these same waters? If you are concerned about this type of thing then you may want to stick to the trails.
