rev:text	Avoid like the plague. Went in for a simple belly band on the muffler and a noise I was unsure of big mistake. I should have waited for an appointment with a real mechanic. Anyway they put a half shaft axle on passenger side. Next day I break down 5 minutes from home. Get towed back, it's a defective part. Now I have an abs, Trac off, and service light on. Go back a 3rd time and they tell me the lights aren't coming on and they see no problems. I have a neighbor mechanic look at it. He believes it's from the wrong axle being put in. Light comes on everyday after. Take it back a fourth time. They run the machine and find that the code says it's the right speed sensor. He offers to only charge me for part and not labor which I decline. He doesn't have speed sensor in and puts on a third axle on to check everything. This fixes the light but it still doesn't feel right. I call customer service to make complaint and talk to director. They put my old axle back on, 5th time there and refund my money. Go to new mechanic, tells me same thing as neighbor, all that axle work fucked up my transmission. Call customer service again and put a claim in to their insurance company. I get denied due to having a refund for the original repair even tho my car is ruined by them. Never ever go to any monro. Horrible company. I spoke with director and he says there is no need to call other mechanic to get his opinion. I could take them to small claims court. I hope that director and his family all die. Someone please burn this location to the ground.
