I've heard nothing but great things about this place and I was so excited to go. I think I even made up a song about how excited I was to go. Once I got there I was not disappointed. The decor wasn't quite what I expected, but not bad. The food was great. We started with the kobe corn dog and fried brussel sprouts. The corn dog wasn't really better than the best corn dog I've had before in my life but the fried brussel sprouts were something new and delicious. They were crispy on the outside but still juicy on the inside. My boyfriend got the pot roast and I got he pastrami crusted duck. His pot roast was good, but I had to protect my duck from him after he tried a bite. I have never tasted anything like it. The combination of flavors made you keep searching for more. It was rich without being too rich and the saurkraut pierogis that came with it was a great balance to the duck. I highly reccomend this place to anyone who enjoys classic food in a way that you've never experienced it before.
I ordered some of their specialty drinks, two that were gin based. I can't recall their names now but they were not my favorite thing on the menu. Dessert was a "pot de creme" which was the perfect amount of sweetness after my meal.
