Is this the nicest Whole Foods I've ever been to? No. It's still a Whole Foods and I love it. This was my once a week lunch stop for about a year and I've got my hot bar strategy nailed down pretty hard. I always go for either a taco salad or green beans with chicken tikka masala. They have a pretty standard offering that doesn't rotate too much. Just don't over fill your container or you WILL be paying for it.
I love pretty much everything at WF - but advise caution on healthy sounding desserts because let's be honest that's not a real thing in this world. You can't have a healthy item from the bakery and expect it to be delicious. This isn't some Utopian fairy land. I frequent the freshly baked cookies - with all the calories and sugar and they are my JAM.
I've also been known to stock up on their guacamole and chips. Their guac is fresh and worth the the dollars they're asking. Would I shop at Whole Foods on the regular for all my grocery needs? Heavens, no, I'm not Gwyneth Paltrow. But will I go spend my lunch hour picking out random snacks and treats that I absolutely need once a week? Over and over, yes.
