  • We took a ride out to see Hoover Dam. It's about a 20 minute ride from Henderson Nevada. This is incredible. Outstanding view. Located on the Nevada / Arizona border, I believe the water is distributed from here to 5 states. A project started under a Republican administration and finished under a Democratic administration. This project was delivered before it was scheduled to be done and under budget. Try to accomplish any of those tasks now a days. I highly recommend the informational tour. It was very very informative and fairly reasonably priced. There is plenty of parking located on the site. Truly a time when America and Americans were very very proud of their craftsmanship.
