Taiwanese food is underrated. Came here for lunch and it's delicious. Everyday from 12-2 and same meals for dinner you can get one dish, I had the Sausage and Pork meal with rice, comes with a great tea boiled egg and some veggies with the same sausage but cut up. This comes with a cold drink and a dessert, tea jello all for $9.99.
The crispy chicken is delicious as any Taiwanese claiming restaurant needs to be.
But come here for this snow ice. We had the Ugly Duckling but they didn't have mung beans so we substituted for tapioca. The condensed milk and the tapioca comes separately but the black sesame snow ice cream has interesting texture. What it needs is more flavor though. Hidden at the bottom are boiled peanuts which offer the sweetness you want in this dessert.
I'd come here for lunch as they have multiple options to eat. However, while the service staff is nice, they must be really good friends cause they all stand at the front together and you gotta always call them over.
Also, no sure if they have a plan/order to asking what you want, but they don't ask you what drink you want, or what dessert you want. So sometimes I wondered if I didn't ask would they ask me?
