I need to confess: this store intimidates me! It is always packed; and the staff that I can glean from a surreptitious glance as I walk by look extremely hipterish. In my nightmares the Apple Store employees laugh at me as I ask what is the iPhone?!
But I had specific questions regarding Apple TV (esp since I don't have a cable subscription), so I took a deep breathe and retraced my steps and went inside the lions den. Every staff I saw was busy looking after a customer. There were several people playing/testing out the various products on display. I headed to the front and asked a hipster-looking staff if he could help me. He looked at my acne first before telling me he was busy looking after a line-up of 4 people but to use any of the devices and press for help and someone would come up to help me. I told you my nightmares were coming true.
I found a station, pressed for help, and proceeded to play on my iPhone as I waited for help. It said I would have a 20 minute wait, but I felt like it got cut in half. There is an order to their chaos. The guy who came to help me was friendly and helpful (I'm certain he still judged me); he answered my Apple TV questions; and I left with a decision made. It was a good outing.
