I have been here a couple times, and they make excellent coffee. You can choose to brew your coffee via Chemex or pour over (they may have French Press too, but I'm not too sure), or you can just get regular drip coffee. Additionally, there are several different coffee beans to choose from from roasters all over the midwest.
A few downsides:
- Both times I have been here, I have had less than friendly baristas with just a little bit of an attitude to make someone visiting Champaign-Urbana feel unwelcome.
- The large, cafeteria-style room can be a little drafty, which is not fun in the dead of winter. :/
Regardless, I have enjoyed two productive afternoons studying here, and despite some strange service, I wouldn't mind going back for a good cuppa joe.
