DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PROPERTY!
I was hopeful when my daughter signed the lease with the old manager Diane, she was awesome & very helpful. Once the new manager Sara came in...it bombed!!
Very nice grounds, neighbors and the maintenance crew was nice & helpful but that's it!!
Thought my 21 yr old daughter would be safe here since it's a gated complex. One night she woke up to someone unlocking the deadbolt on her apartment door, the guy said "oh they must have given me the wrong key" & left. Really...the wrong key to the door it opened!! Sara the manager was disrespectful of the situation & said they didn't give anyone a key. Guess I was disrespectful too since she hung up on me! We did make a report to the police just in case it was the norm for this property.
Had a fire on the balcony in the light fixture due to bird poop. My daughter reported the problem to the office & asked if they could clean it up & they said no, they wouldn't clean it up. The balcony light accidently got left on one night & it started a fire. Took them 5 days to clean up the glass & poop mess & put a plastic part on there to keep the birds off it. They should have done it months earlier when asked!
Sara let us into the pool area when we were visiting since we didn't have a key. Great!! Well she failed to tell us that you need a key to get out. My son showed up about 2 hours later & rescued us. She was nice enough to give a handsome 24 yr old man a key but not us old ladies!!
The "Move-out Checklist" doesn't say anything about shampooing carpets. When asked if it was needed Sara said no but that most people get charged because the pad is stained. Well how the heck is a renter to know if the pad is stained w/out pulling up the carpet.
We hired someone to come in & do a move out clean & shampoo. Legend withheld $25.00 of the deposit due to the bedroom carpet needing to be stretch. Not sure what a tenant would have to do to shrink the carpet but they got their $25.00. When my daughter asked what could she have done to cause that, Sara said she didn't know but the company they have inspect the apartments said it needed stretching so that's the charge.
When asked if they would do a walk-thru with my daughter before leaving the final time the front desk told her they could do it but couldn't tell her if anything would jeopardize her deposit. OK so what's the point then!
It was 22 days & still no check for the deposit. When called they said they mailed it. Finally went to the office to pick up the check since that seems to be the only piece of mail that didn't make it to the new address! Even received other mail from Legend...big mystery!
Management is the worst! Very unprofessional, unfriendly & just rude when asked anything. This office staff needs a class in customer service!
