I hate this place ;)
Before I moved to Vegas I lived in LA and had a totally different experience of buffalo exchange. I would sell and buy clothes there quite often. And the merchandise in the store seemed like it was bought with thought. And I usually left with some cute stuff. It's even a store I would often stop into often to shop.
Although I love the location of this one, I feel like the majority of the merchandise in the store is old, dirty, torn, completely outdated, stained. It's kind of gross. Then when I come in with clothes/ shoes to sell... they say they're looking for different stuff (last time they told me they're looking for jeans and Vans, what I had on. Why would I sell fresh stuff I'm currently wearing?!) Seems odd considering the stuff in the store is so gross and I don't know why they would have ever bought that.
The shoes are so used and filthy. There have been numerous sweaters I've seen with holes- and not cute trendy ones but like around the neck and seams. And the jewelry, which they tend to have new items of- is totally overpriced. If I'm going to spend $14 on a pair of studs, it won't be from here.
I would much rather just donate to a rescue mission, women's shelter or goodwill to begin with.
