Saw a show here - The Shady Tour w/ some of Ru Paul's Drag Race previous contestants - on a Thursday night. We parked at the Arizona Center & paid $5 for event parking. For downtown Phoenix in this area, I didn't think it was bad. We walked to the theater, got inside, and were ushered to our seats. My overall first impression of the lobby was that it was clean and more on the contemporary side, compared to older and more classic theaters. As you'd expect in most theaters, the walking room to get to your seats are extremely tight and for a short person like me, this gets even more difficult! But again, no surprise there.
I enjoyed the show very much! The seats were decently comfortable to sit on for 2-3 hours. I do wish that there were more bathrooms. During intermission, we had to go to the restroom downstairs and we basically spent more than half of the break waiting in line.
If you come here for a show, make sure you plan out your parking situation so you avoid having to pay more $$!
