I can't believe I never got around to coming here while I lived in Vegas. I've been missing out.
Here's what we had:
Crispy duck with Penang curry- WOW. This was definitely my favorite. Normally with duck curry I see that the duck is swimming in curry, which leads to soggy skin. Not this dish! The curry was perfectly creamy and spicy, and they place the crispy duck on top so you have crispy skin with every bite. We shared this dish between 4 people, and I think I could have eaten the entire thing myself. I'd say splitting this dish between two people would leave someone hungry if you didn't have other dishes.
Garlic Shrimp- Now I see why this dish has been mentioned over 200 times! The shell is taken off and fried along with the shrimp meat. So at first I was confused why my shrimp had no meat. The skin was crispy and unlike other places where you struggle to chew it, this version was easy to swallow. The garlic flavor doesn't shine through as much as I'd like, but I would still get this again.
Pad See Ew- Noodles were cooked well and the chicken wasn't dry. It was very good and I would order it again if I was in the mood. Next time I want to try the drunken noodles. I really liked the balance of flavors so I think the other noodle dishes will be good, too.
Service was very friendly. Even though it was busy we had our waters filled and were checked on multiple times.
The portions are a little on the small side for the price but what you get is pretty amazing. I had a hard time deciding whether I would give this place 4 or 5 stars, and I can't fault them for doing things well and charging more for it.
Excited for our next visit!
