  • I have been on the hunt for a hotel I could return to on when I go to Phoenix to help care for my mom who has an ongoing illness. HILTON Garden INN North is my favorite so far. It's close to the airport and I noticed it offered a free shuttle service ice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are nicely appointed with a great shower ( which I prefer). Sleep number beds are in the rooms as well. The pool and spa are 24hrs for adults and the breakfast was good and replenished frequently. I was especially appreciative of the clean gym area that was open 24hrs and the business center ( it had a paper shredder!). The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because there are no nearby restaurants unless you walk to a strip club 3 blocks down ......assuming they have food. A rental car is a must or at least stop at a store prior to check in and utilize the room fridge and microwave!
