  • I'll make this easy by posing a simple question...Why does average, rock hard ice cream take 30 minutes to dish out and cost 10 bucks? Okay, it's all nitrogen infused and the molecules are touched by science, that's nothing but a cheap marketing gimmick to give off the illusion of being a game changer, at the end of the day it does nothing to change the taste or makeup of cream and candy toppings. Ice cream is cream, milk, and sugar with toppings, there's no big science there. There is no game changer here, it's just the visuals of smokey misty nitrogen clouds floating around and a busy production line, it's just plain average ice cream that comes out ROCK HARD and takes 30 MINUTES to get in your hand. I walked into this place with a friend, we get in line, place an order and get a number. Okay, it'll probably take 5 minutes right? Try 30. Not kinda sorta 30 minutes, but a full 30 minutes. I saw two people ahead of me walk up to the counter asking if it was ready yet, they waited another 10. This is Ice Cream people, not fillet mignon or lasagna, this is a quick service get in and get out concept, yet nobody got anything quick and I couldn't wait to get out! Frozen Yogurt takes 2 minutes to get in your mouth, you walk in, fill up a giant cup top it off with oreo crumbs, pay 5 bucks and leave. Even Cold Stone Creamery takes 5 minutes, scoop, pay, done. Adios. I don't know what the owners are thinking with this place but if your business concept is based on making people wait half an hour to get something that they can get elsewhere but cheaper and better, it won't last too long. The prices are 5 bucks for a tiny kids cup, 6 bucks for a small cup, and 8 for a larger cup, that doesn't include extras, taxes, or a tip. 10 bucks for average ice cream is steep, for a family that's 50 bucks. With that budget you could run to the store buy 10 tubs of ice cream and stock your home freezer for 6 months, and that too would be quicker than waiting in this place. The staff didn't do anything wrong or screw up it's just the whole idea is insane and the end product isn't that good, it really wasn't. It's just a sexy LA style marketing gimmick, let's use nitrogen and misty special effects to sell an average product. If you have the patience of a monk and a completely clear schedule than have fun waiting for your hard, overpriced ice cream here. If you are a regular person who wants a reasonable product for a decent price in a reasonable timeframe than skip this place. I will never literally waste my time here ever again, and from the impatient faces of everyone else around me, I can't see them coming back either. Pick up some Dreyer's and spare yourself the (ice cream) headache.
