  • My podiatrist at this office, Dr Delassandro, referred me to my first ortho at her prior office a year ago. That Dr. did nothing but recommend a multi-level lumbar fusion before seeing an MRI, and then after seeing it. When Dr D came here I followed her. She is amazing & I trust her completely. She has caught mistakes made by radiologists and my PRIMARY doctor. I love her to death & will sing her praises until I die. When she suggested I see Dr Bady for a 2nd opinion for my neck & back issues I didn't question her judgment at all. I saw Dr Sep Bady this morning & ladies, not only is he quite handsome, he has a great outgoing personality. As my first ortho failed to review my films with me, Dr Bady did. He confirmed my need for a fusion but disagreed that I needed a multi-level fusion. And he explained why. While I have a background in personal injury cases, I'm familiar with the terminology, symptomology, & causation. I agreed with his assessment & plan of attack. He said he would do the surgery if I wanted or I could have my first ortho do it. I am choosing Dr Bady, and here is why: He didn't leave until he answered my questions. He was easy to speak with, he listened. He wanted to educate me on what is going on. That he's easy on the eyes was a distraction, but hey! I'm not complaining. :) I feel comfortable with him & I do trust him. I am transferring my care to him for both my neck & back. My goal is NOT to be pain free. My goal is to take pain meds truly "as needed," if not get off them completely. I can't function or move without them; all my meds do is take the edge off so I can. For the first time in 14 years I see the light at the end of tunnel...aka relief. 5 stars for Dr Bady himself. 4-stars because that office is a train wreck. Not the doctors, but the staff. Those girls are nice & friendly but that doesn't make up for their disorganised handling of files, films, or paperwork. You DEFINITELY have to stay on top of them to get something done.
