If I could give a zero star for this Petco I would. Went in on 1/02/17 with my boyfriend who is a "Pals Rewards" member. He had a coupon for the puppy pads from their coupon book. I typically shop at Petsmart but decided to give Petco a try. When we got to the register we realized we had forgotten the coupon (the pads were around $50.00). We explained the situation to our cashier Samuel. He said without the coupon he could not honor the discount because he would have to destroy a coupon book to remove the one we needed. At that point I was frustrated but said ok I understand... how about if I become a "Pals Rewards" member and start shopping here. Samuel rolled his eyes at me and with a long sigh stated "well I guess you can do that if that's what you really want". Despite his poor attitude I waited for him to get me the proper paperwork to sign up. Once he started rooting around looking for it and rolling his eyes some more and the deep "I wish you would just leave" sighs I just gave up. Told him to forget it. I would return to being a loyal Petsmart customer. I myself am a manager in a retail location.. if I ever saw or heard of an employee treating a client (especially a potential new client) this way he would be escorted to the door. My next move is a call to the manager but I wanted to wait until I wasn't so irritated.
