| - Watch out this app is full of sketchy unauthorized charges, glitches, maybe it's on purpose, but to explain I'll start off by saying long story short, tonight I had received 2 cancellation fees for lyfts that had just showed up to my place AFTER I had already taken one to where I needed to go and back while I'm watching a movie, on my phone! This isn't the first time but to stay on current events, I had recently requested one to go to the store and back, afterwards I tipped him generously, in cash I must add, then proceed to watch my movie. I then See that he had ended the ride but due to the medium in which I tipped him I didn't bother to open it. 10 mins go by and I receive a phone call but didn't answer, & again, after the third time I answer only to find out there is a lyft outside for me. To summarize, I explained I have no idea why that order went through and give him a couple bucks for his troubles. Not even 2 mins go by as he's pulling out And i get a notification that a lyft will be at my "destination" in a minute. So again long story short after the one gentleman had left, AFTER I HAD ALREADY WENT TO WHERE I NEEDED TO GO! And I so rudely had to tell the next gentleman I didn't need a ride, the SAME EXACT thing happened within 60 seconds. Another, different guy pulls up as the other is leaving stating I requested a lyft...2 unauthorized drivers within legit 2 minutes. I had already paid and tipped the first one then 2 more come & im there looking like an asshole and I'm not one to complain about $15-$20 but for one; it's the principle, I use (used) this app for years, especially since Uber treats their drivers like shit, but didn't think they'd replace their drivers with customers to treat like shit, by taking advantage of a card on file & do something like this. We feel secure when we place a ride and see it authorized whilst seeking for drivers in the area. Personally I feel violated knowing that I can have an app in the background (such as lyft) while I'm watching a movie and it go through and have them come to my house without even an end destination, just my place, after I had just had received a ride, paid for it and tipped him cash!! I can go on but going to end this rant. Secondly, this isn't the first time. All in all just Watch out for hidden fees, unauthorized lyft charges, and keep track of where you go,how much it's going to cost, & I guess after getting a ride, tip your driver via app and close the app then delete said app and just reinstall when you need a ride again in the future to avoid any financial trauma/confusion.
