Without a doubt, the worst of the minor league fields. Only a dedicated Angels fan should put themselves through the hassle of going there.
Parking is atrocious. Awful. Mind-numbingly bad. I was directed in circles by Tempe police and volunteers and, for the first time in forty years of going to baseball games, missed the opening pitch even though I left with almost two hours to spare. This was also due to the fact that morons were manning the security line. After dealing with the parking situation, it took half an hour to get through the security because the guy was going through every single bag item by item. He literally took everything out of every bag. There was a man in front of me who had three pieces of fruit and the security guy made him take a bite out of each one. Who does that. I was carrying a small collapsible umbrella which has been allowed at every other ballpark but this guy deemed it to be a security threat and told me I needed to bring it back to my car. I demanded to speak to someone in charge and he took the umbrella to first aid where I could pick it up after the game. After much wandering to get to first aid, I was finally able to go to my seat having missed the first inning. 95 minutes to get into a stadium. Bizarre.
And the seats ... ugh. Don't even get me started. I sit behind home plate so I'm paying top dollar to be squashed into a child size seat.
The whole experience was beyond awful. Luckily the Rockies destroyed the Angels 18 - 5 so at least something was salvaged.
