  • Almost 4 years later and this review deserves an update! I stayed at Bally's on business this past weekend, from Saturday to Monday. I knew I'd be in the Jubilee Tower, and that the rooms were updated, but the rooms ended up being GORGEOUS. Very much approve. PRO's: -Location on the Strip - you're right in the middle of everything. They now have their Grand Bazaar shops too, so you have some shops and restaurants right there - Wahlburgers is there and they're building a Giordano's, too. There's also a CVS right next door. -THE UPDATED ROOMS. These were super, super nice. They're just as large as the older rooms they used to have, but very shiny/new. (small "con": there's only a shower, and no bathtub ... but it's a walk-in shower, so I can't really complain) -The casino: Bally's to me has never really had a theme, except maybe "old-school Vegas," but I like that the casino isn't huge and is easily walkable. I will say I did more gambling at Paris next door than Bally's though, they had a larger slots selection. CON's: -Sounds strange to say this but ... price? My bill was about $400 for two nights, including their new fancyshmancy resort fee (anyone remember when it was just Mirage and places like that which had resort fees?), which I guess includes WiFi and ... other stuff? Pool privileges? Not sure. Last time I stayed at Bally's we paid like $230 for 4 nights, with tax, according to my review, which is about $55/night. (granted, this was for two weekend nights, but still - it was about $200 per night including the resort fee) -My room was the very last room at the end of a long hallway (room #6040) and it took FOREVER to walk back and forth. I did too much walking Sunday night so I literally limped back to Bally's, and then had that long hallway to walk down. Not fun. That being said, I was totally impressed by the renovations, so I would definitely stay here again.
