Nicest, friendliest place in the Pittsburgh area - and that's saying a lot because almost everyone I met while on a trip to Pittsburgh/Butler was friendly and helpful - to the extent of two different sets of people giving us directions by having us follow them to the location even though it wasn't where they were headed! One of those places was the Monongahela Incline, and boy did were drive around and around (lots of detour signs) before we got help from a friendly couple who had us follow them to a parking lot near the Incline. Got to the top of the Incline to Mt. Washington - beautiful view! It was an unseasonably warm October Sunday, and after walking to the different lookouts, we were hot and thirsty. There was only one place open at 3:00pm - Shiloh's! I was soooooo thirsty! I asked if I could order an iced tea in a to-go cup. The only thing they had was a kiddie cup, but, hey! I'm not picky! After they got it for me, they refused to take any payment! If we didn't have dinner reservations with friends later, we would have certainly dined here!
