My husband and I stopped at Machinery Row last week to rent bikes. Everyone was very friendly and paid a lot of attention to us even though we were just renting bikes. We had so much fun with our bikes that we decided to buy our own. We decided to stop at Machinery Row since the staff seemed very nice. I walked in convinced that I wanted a comfort hybrid bike. But the salesperson who was helping us convinced us that fitness hybrid would suit our needs better. I threw longing glances at the pretty comfort hybrids, but when we test rode our bikes, I knew he was right. He helped us try different frame sizes on the road. My husband wanted to ride a road bike just to be sure that a hybrid was what he wanted and he was given one to try. He spent a lot of time with us, helping us pick our accessories and actively discouraged us from certain ones that we thought we wanted. That convinced me that we had come to the right place to buy a bike. There was no pressure absolutely to buy more. We ended up with Trek 7.2 FX for both of us. We love our bike and the bike shop made it the best possible experience. You cannot go wrong while buying a bike from here.
