  • This is one beautiful park. great for fishing, picnic, baseball or just hanging out with your dog. You will not find a prettier spot. It has two drawbacks that you will discover n most souathern neighborhoods. The dog leash is not in force by all dog owners, thus making this a dangerous place for you and your pet or child. My dog was viciously stalked by a dog without a collar, and of course my dog attacked back. NO one stepped up to help, and or claim their unleashed dog. The crazy dog kept coming at us even after getting his face tore up.Finally as we made it to the car, the retards came to get it. The second issue is trash and plastic being discarded in this lovely lake by those that obviously are not happy with 'nice" things, or just do not appreciate this beauty. In any case, if you happen to go there, leash your dog,and pick up after yourself. Otherwise, Its not going to be beautiful for very long.
