  • Province is a great place to sit outside and have a cocktail, but the food is severely lacking. We went over the weekend for restaurant week. The shrimp cocktail was 90% mediocre salsa in a martini glass and had literally two little shrimp in it. The tomato soup was super, super salty and I couldn't take more than a few bites. The salmon was actually really good, but the chicken was lacking in flavor. The dessert sampler was a big flop -- so pretty, but they tasted like they had been sitting out for days -- old and chewy. But I can say the service by our waitress was outstanding -- she was so nice! Afterward, at the bar, the older, male bartender couldn't have been any less interested in serving anyone. He was rude and seemed to hate his job! I don't think we'll be going back here.
