rev:text	My first visit to Social Nail Bar was on 08/05/2017. The girls in the reception area were friendly, and it was nice to see that there is actually a receptionist to take appointments. Many times I have had a tech working on my nails and they stop to take a call, or all calls for the entire shop. This adds to much time to my visit, I want to be seen and out, asap.The shop is new and beautifully decorated .Social has a large variety of nail services, and nail polish colors. I was offered a beverage, a nice touch on a hot day. I told Phan my tech, what I wanted, and he did a great job. I expect my nails to be thin coated with acrylic, I don't like big, thick unnatural looking nails. With thinner acrylic when they grow out, if I cannot get to the a fill appointment, I quickly buff the line down, coat with quick dry polish and in 10 minutes, I am good for another week. I have had issues with getting techs to comply with what I want, telling me they will break and just ignoring what I wanted. I think they understand what I want, but want me to have to come back asap to have the mountain of acrylic filed off, so money can be made. I am hard on my nails. I use power tools, garden and dig in the rocky Nevada dirt, make concrete projects, and I do woodworking . I wear gloves but do not baby my nails. Only once did the nail edge chip off when I caught it between to bricks, and that's better than having the whole nail ripped off because it was to thick. Phan didn't give me grief, he just said if one breaks, to come back and he will fix for free. I have found my happy place for nail days!
