Came back here for the first time in a long time for a birthday dinner. I had remembered it being great my first visit, and was worried my second visit wouldn't live up to my memory, but if anything, it was even greater!
We got the beef carpaccio and the grilled octopus to start. Both were quite good. The carpaccio was beautiful and the cheese was a delicious complement. The octopus was cooked well, definitely could taste the grilled part, and everything was great with it.
We split the pappardelle ai funghi. Perfectly al dente and savory. The server had them split it for us beforehand which was nice. :)
I was stuffed, but had to end on the chocolate bread pudding (I can't say no to chocolate or bread pudding!). It was not so bread pudding-y, but it was very chocolatey and satisfying. The berry coulis was that nice bit of tart to pair with the richness of this dish.
Solid food, cool ambiance, and just an all-around great place. I have to remember to come back here more often!
