  • While I was feeling a little homesick one day, you could only imagine my delight when I happened to come across an honest to goodness Krispy Kreme store!!! Needless to say, I rushed right in and immediately ordered a dozen little rounds of heaven. As I sat there and dived into my krack kakes (that's what some of us like to call them back in the States) I was able for at least a little while, imagine that I was back home. My only complaint is that they don't offer the kreme filled dougnuts, whether they be chocolate iced or glazed, all the time. :-( Those are ALWAYS on the menu in the States and my absolut fave. Also don't forget, you can always take a dozen glazed back home and pop those bad boys in the microwave for 8 seconds and VOILA! You have the melt in your mouth goodness of doughnuts fresh out of the fryer, right in the comfort of you own home.
