This was my first experience buying a car. And after trying a few other dealerships, we wound our way into the showroom on Washington Road and into Dean's hands.
Dean is everything you'd want in a car salesman. He's honest, friendly and empathic. He listened to us and didn't try to get us a car we couldn't afford. Earlier that day, we tried a couple other dealerships and none of the salesman we spoke to listened to us. They all wanted us in a car that was $7000 out of our price range. Not Dean....we knew exactly what we wanted and he was more than happy to oblige.
We knew we had bad credit. We also had a price range. Maybe we didn't look like we belonged in a Lincoln because Dean had no problem getting us into the Suzuki we had our eyes on.
Aside from him, the credit guy Joey was super friendly. We knew we had crappy credit and they didn't treat us like it. They both seemed like they wanted us in this car as much as we did.
Compared to the other dealerships we went to that day, South Hills Lincoln was just awesome. My fiance kept saying that she wished that Dean, the salesman, would be her complimentary grandpa. He was a super chill old Greek dude. Unfortunately, we weren't able to keep him but we did get to keep the car! If we're still in Pittsburgh when we get our next car, we're definitely going to try to see Dean again.
