So far not super impressed. I've only been coming here with my dog for about two months now. The second time I came in they charged me for medicine that I didn't get. I called the office during the middle of that same day and no one answered the phone, it put me to a voicemail. I left a message and no one called me back in a whole week. I emailed the vet directly and she put a credit on my account that same day.
Today, I called in because my dog was having an issue and spoke to Jerry. She told me that she would check with the doctor and call me back. It has been almost five hours and I haven't heard. I called back and spoke to someone else and went over the same information again, with no explanation for why I wasn't called back regarding medicine or treatment. Now i'm going on almost another half hour with no call back.
The vet is very nice and seems to really care about the animals and she is very gentle and sweet with my puppy. However, the reception leaves a lot to be desired. I might be looking for a new vet soon.
Update: It's been two weeks since I posted my review. I still stand by what I said about Dr. Hartge being great. I had a question about my dog's food and I contacted her directly and she was a great help. However, last night my dog got sick and I called in this morning and I was told that he can't come in today and to take him to urgent vet, which apparently doesn't open for another 7 hours. OK? That's great, a doctor where you can't even bring a regular patient when they get sick.
Oh and P.S. my puppy just projectile vomited across the living room. Definitely not waiting 7 hours to take him somewhere that isn't even his doctor. Will be going somewhere else, asap this morning.
Final conclusion, I do not recommend this "pet hospital". Dr. Hartge was great, but I wish she worked somewhere else.
