  • Oh the memories. What would the Lost Generation be without Cafe Select? Or the Beat Generation without Vesuvio's? Similarly, I cannot imagine closing out a night with the PowerFriends without a nightcap at the Shawnessy Starbucks. This Starbucks location has itself gone trough a series of generations of employees. Elroy, Vixen, General, Whitehorse, Abacus, Vander Schnein, Skeletor, Tatiana, Foamié ... all have gone on to bigger and better things. But while the faces may change, the location remains. So many Sunday afternoons ... so many Thursday nights ... so many memories. This will always be THE Starbucks I think of when someone says "Starbucks."
