  • Always come out happy here. It's true what people are saying about Charlotte and Brionie--they are both A++++! The way they cut hair here is very unique--it's more of an artistic endeavour than a standard "section hair-cut-check symmetry-repeat" method that I'm sure we're all used to. Both of these stylists really listen to what you are asking for, and have a really good handle on different hair types. They're both also very lovely people. I usually have haircut anxiety, but every time I've been here it's been just so pleasant. Believe it or not, it has been extremely difficult to find a good stylist in downtown Toronto...jackpot- now I've found two! Salon is obviously well-run and always clean. And they never push any products in that usual awkward way that salons do (side note: Kevin Murphy line is great). One critique: the girl at the front desk *could* be a little more friendly and knowledgeable about the product line. Don't come in here looking schleppy, though. Parlour has a cool-kids-hang-here vibe. Even though I'm not a hipster, I put some effort in before I leave the house...just saying!
