BEWARE.
This review is based on my less than 1 mintue interaction with the person running the shop this day (saturday evening) and Less than two minute walk into the store.
I just finished dropping a lot of dough in the beautiful shop next door - Cocktail Emporium. Cocktail Emporium = great customer service, no wonder their shop was busy, and pretty cool stuff.
After shopping at Cocktail Emporium I walked east and noticed a shop next door with other bar/cocktail stuff and more... I was in a rush and already had my gift but just wanted to see if there was anything more interesting I can add to it. Right when I stepped in I saw a boxed item of a glass or mixed cocktail set. I took a few more steps and this person running the shop said hello and I said hello back. I asked him if he had "any more gift sets, like this o---" as I stepped back and pointed toward the set on display.
Before I could finish my sentence he abruptly said "No we don't have any gift sets" indignantly. I was taken back by the abruptness and even looked back at the "gift set" wondering why he said he did not have any, when there was indeed at least that one that I pointed to in his store.
He went on to say in the same tone "Gift sets are for lazy people!! You should give a gift of love....."
I did not say a word and walked right out.
wtf is he talking about "love"?!? Does he even know what he is saying?
In some ways I wish I said something to set him straight and let him know that he is rude and should not talk to people that way. But I don't think it would do any good to spread his hateful tone back at him.
HOW RUDE!!! This person has no idea what customer service is, let alone how to just simply talk to another human being. Who cares what they sell.
When I came in this person just finished talking to some other man who left the store.
But no wonder the store - though full of stuff - was empty!!!
Would I recommend this store to anyone? NOPE not even to just browse. Definitely not even worth the two minutes I spent in the store.
