  • I spoke with Dave at the Henderson Costco via telephone and informed him the pizza crust we bought the night before, when opened, was moldy under the labeling of the packaging where you couldn't see until opened. All three pizza crusts had mold on them. He sounded shocked stating "we just received those in" and asked us if we would go out of our way to bring them into the location so he may have them to document and contact the company they purchased them from. I called yesterday and asked for him directly, and the lady asked what the reason for my call was, i informed her of our conversation and she simply says "just come on in someone will help you" we go to the store, wait in line, I inform the lady of the situation with Dave and get a blank stare, and she proceeds with the return. Now, this item wasn't expensive if anything it cost the same amount of money in gas going back to the store. I got my refund and we walked out. Dave I am very disappointed with you as I explained this was my 3rd occurrence with your company and moldy food! I let the first two incidence go. Your fresh produce covered in furry mold, your fresh bananas the next day after purchasing were covered in mold and unable to consume. My fiancĂ© even made a comment to me "I don't even want to shop there anymore" and you know what I don't either. I understand it's not costcos fault, it's the company's you are buying from. But when I called to address the issue and you tell me "you'll make sure we are taken care of, just ask for me and I'll see that everything is taken care of" leaving me to believe we would be granted something more then our money back for the HUGE inconvenience this was. We pay to be able to shop here and spend endless amounts of money in your store to be not taken seriously, to not be "taken care of" to not be taken seriously, and to be blown off when we do as instructed by Dave and ask for you. So for those of you who shop at Costco, be careful of what you are buying. Three occurrences in the same month with Moldy, contaminated produce/food/products. I'm very disappointed Dave, thanks for you're "help" or the lack there of.
