The barista was very knowledgeable about their fairtrade coffees and made suggestions as to what we should order. He seemed passionate about his job, and I really like that. Cafes should offer a warm inviting feeling and this is what I received when I walked in.
Decor was earthy, organic, and hip. You would normally find this in downtown, so it's nice to see a cafe like this opened up in around my area. Now, I don't have to travel all the way down to Queen or King for my fairtrade caffeine fix.
The only downside about this cafe, I would say, is that they don't serve food. And their pastry selection was quite small. Other than that, their lattes and cappuccinos were good.
I have been to a lot of cafes in Downtown Toronto and I can't say this is my favourite. But, I will definitely return again for a non-Starbucks option coffee.
