  • I want to encourage anyone in the Phoenix area interested in getting a Class A CDL to strongly consider choosing Southwest Truck Driver Training! I just completed the program there and received my Class A CDL and was happy with the entire process from the administrative office to the very last day. The staff is above and beyond. My in class instructor Danny was great and helped me to really learn all the necessary rules and regulations associated with Trucking. My instructor on the driving course, Merlin, hands down was the best instructor I've ever had in my life. I've had a lot of teachers, trainers and mentors but this guy takes the cake! The patience and understanding on display by him was outstanding. I honestly cannot sing enough praise for this guy! If you are lucky enough to get him as your instructor, you'll walk away not only learning how to drive and understand the nuances of truck driving, but you'll walk away a better person for knowing him. They broke the mold with that guy! So thanks to everyone at SWTDT! Across the board everyone there was fantastic! Now I'm off to start my new career in Trucking!
