I've brought my Sheltie to Man's Best Friend twice now, and each time Brian and his crew has done an amazing job! My dog has severe arthritis and they were very gentle and caring with him. It's not easy to groom a Sheltie but they did phenomenal work. (In the past I've had groomers that nearly shaved him down, so his coat is a bit rough now... I know how important it is to do Sheltie coats correctly!)
I was so impressed that Brian brought me on a tour of the facility on our first visit. I was concerned with the dryer situation, as I don't want my dog in a cage with a dryer (another bad experience in our past, ugh), and I was pleased to see they wouldn't do that at MBF. Another great feature: a brand-new walk-in bathing tub.
And then finally, everyone there is so genuine and friendly. Hurley was smiling when I picked him up-- he smelled amazing and they gave him cute little bandanas.
My boyfriend and I have since brought our other two dogs to MBF for grooming. They're easier--short coats, no health troubles-- and they were both treated like MVPs (most valuable pooches, of course).
The price is a tad higher than my old groomer, but I feel the service and attention to caring for each individual dog is well worth the difference. If I know my dogs are in good hands when I leave them, it is such a relief. Thank you Brian for being one of the best in the local grooming business!
Now I have to go; I have to call and make our next appointments... :-)
