| - On my last day in vegas, I booked some time for me at the Spa. The mister did not want to join me as he did not want to miss watching the football games. Your loss, Mr.T.
I booked a hot stone massage, 50 mins for $175. I waited on line at the check in desk as all the clerks were busy. Once a clerk was free, I was cut by two "biddies" who wanted to talk to her. I said very loudly, excuse me I was waiting on line before them. But the old biddy admitted shamelessly that I had been waiting first. Hey, old biddies, if you see a line, don't cut to the front. I don't care if you are much older than me, you should know better. No excuse for bad manners that 's why I called you out. So the clerk, proceeded to check me in and showed me to the locker rooms.
The gym is included for use when you book a spa service. Otherwise, if you want to use the gym only, it $30. So yes, I made use of the gym. The gym is a spectacular space of new and modern high tech machines, weights and yoga equipment. Ran on their complicated to use treadmill for about half and hour. After wards, I slipped into the robe and slippers and hung out in the waiting lounge.
My masseuse was a sweet lady who escorted me down an endless long hallway to the room. This Spa is really huge. She asked me first, what pressure I liked. I was feeling daring as I said medium - hard pressure. OMG, she did one side of my back and she was pretty much nailing my shoulder onto the bed. She did ask again, if the pressure was alright. I said, Much, Much lighter please! I would rate the hot stone massage as average.
What really made me love the spa was the facilities. After the massage, I hung out in the four private pools. I tried the jacuzzi and the cold water pool. I was in heaven for the wet steam room with eucalyptus. Love that wet steam room. Yes, it is so steamy that you cannot see anything, and no one staring you back. Second, to that was the the showers. Who gets excited using a shower? I did. Large shower stalls with rain shower and twinkling lights that changed colors above you. The sink area was impressive with all the bath products you need, including flat irons! Also, loved the waiting lounge with the plush couches. There is such a great assortment of drinks, tea, coffee, sodas, bottled water and V8.
I was here so long that the mister came to the Spa to find me. He was so worried when I didn't come back to the room. The attendant found me in the lounge area and returned me to mister. I was scolded by the mister but it was so worth it! I was in SPA HEAVEN!
