*Edited on 2/21/2018 - I went to the salon yesterday, and the store manager, Shannon, could not have been more wonderful. She acknowledged the miscommunication and took full responsibility for the error. She even appealed to her boss one more time for permission to fix things and apply the charter member price I was originally offered. He, once again, said no. So, I did go ahead and cancel my membership. Shannon was very understanding, and I want to stress that the staff in Lakewood has always been friendly and welcoming. I'm leaving my review at one star and went through with my cancellation on principle. It's disappointing that upper management does not trust individual store managers or allow them the leeway to fix PBT errors and retain good clients, especially when it's the store managers who know and deal with clients every day.
