| - Has potential... but execution is still rough. I arrived at 7:25 for a 7:20 movie. The ticket-buying process was so slow... that it took the 2 registers over 15 minutes to sell tickets to the 6 people in front of us. By time we got to cashier, they informed us that there is absolutely no seating after 15 minutes, and they could not let us see the movie. The employee acknowledged it was their fault, but could not let us in, and offered us a $3 discount to see another movie (which turned out being horrible... but that's not his fault).
We got to our seat... and we're impressed by the layout. Every 2 seats shares a table. The table has a menu, pieces of paper and pens. The table has clever lighting underneath, so you can read the menu and write down what you want. When ready, put the piece of paper in a slot, and the waiter will see the paper and come to get your order. I didn't take any pics of the menu... but decent food, good beer and cocktail selection, and unlimited popcorn ($7.00 and served in a metal bowl). We got our initial order within ~15 minutes... and I put up the paper for more beer and popcorn (as did the seats around us)... and we waited almost an HOUR before he came back with the final check! He then took the order and got me another beer, just in time for the final scene. We never got more popcorn.
If the ticket-selling, and service were improved... this theatre concept would earn an easy 5-stars... sadly, they fell short. I hope this is because the staff is still training... as I hope to come again and have a better experience.
For 3 people... total bill was $21 for movie, and $46 for the food (2 PBR beers, 1 soda, Mac & Cheese, Fish & Chips, and Popcorn)... not a bad price, considering what you pay for popcorn and soda at other theatres.
