My most recent visit has left a big distaste for this place. Not coming back again on my own will. I'll get myself XLB elsewhere.
The food is still the same from my previous review, still good. However, I'm not coming here again due to service.
I believe their staff changed or something. We came on Christmas day to have lunch and only half the tables were filled. Plenty of tables on Christmas day suspicious yes?
I had a bad feeling once I had to ask for a table away from the door twice, it was a cold afternoon. (I believe it was the boss sitting us too).
When we decided to order, we wanted to order first for my family as they were running a tad late. The server had the nerve to tell us that the orders will get all messed up if we order now and then add more later. You've been an established business for how long now and you're still having problems with kitchen organization?
We ordered the pan fried wontons. My mom wanted to add another order of that so she asked for that but the server added the wrong item and it came out with steamed wontons which isn't what we ordered. We did get one order of the fried wontons. However, the server came and told my mom that's what she ordered and we know that's not what she ordered.
My mom being a server herself didn't want to cause trouble and just said its fine we'll keep it. Regardless, I didn't like how that guy treated my mom by pointing at her and saying she ordered when we know she didn't. The other server thought it was funny too. Absolutely rude.
Don't come here. Get your XLB at other Chinese establishments that taste the same if not better and better service.
