| - Sunridge Animal Hospital is not my normal vet, I went here because they take care of exotic animals and my usual location gave me this name. I will not return to this location because of the front office staff.
When I called them to schedule an appointment, they asked if I could be put on hold and I said yes. There was a pause and on the other end, I was rudely asked for my attention with a "hello??" as if I purposefully wasted their time by not replying, when I simply must not have been loud enough. A simple, polite repeat of the question would have sufficed.
When I brought my bearded dragon into the office, rather than greeting me with a hello or "how can we help you?" the lady at the front office assumed two things: that I wanted to surrender my pet or I found him. Excuse me??? Is that how you greet someone with a bearded dragon they've had for 12 years? Not that she would have known, but if that were the case, let your customer know that's what they want rather than you put the words in for them. I knew at that point I would never return.
After waiting for an hour (not that it's their fault, it is a walk-in clinic after all), I was helped by Dr. Sarno. He was kind to us and my beardie and gave us advice on taking care of my sick pet. Dr. Sarno "saved" my experience here and is the reason why this hospital gets 2 stars instead of 1, because the care for my pets (that I would NEVER surrender) is far more important than someone at the front office who apparently wants to judge rather than assist.
