  • Heldt has the best quality lumber that you will find in the Valley. Their counter staff has always been very knowledgeable and helpful in my experiences. The prices are a bit higher than the big box stores, but you get what you pay for. I live in central Phoenix, so the location is fantastic. My only complaint is that the hours are geared toward professional contractors so it is a challenge to get there during the week, but they are open Saturday mornings. I fear for the day when Frank decides to cash in on what must be a very expensive piece of North Central real estate so that we can have one more Sam Fox restaurant added to 7th St.
