What a crappy airport. I've been in airports in Eastern European countries that were nicer than this! I arrived first of three people I was meeting as my two friends were stuck in weather and equipment related delays. There was virtually nothing to do once outside security. One Tim Horton's had a line of about 20 people, and I walked around to find another location just to pass the time. There wasn't one. Nor was there much seating. Or signage to find the domestic arrivals as one of my friends wasn't arriving internationally like the rest of us. Nobody seemed to know, but after asking multiple people, I found it... and wished I didn't. Nothing to do there either.
On the way out of the country, I discovered things aren't much better post-security. My flight was delayed and there wasn't much to do other than watch TV shows on my phone. I have a Priority Pass lounge membership, and there's no participating lounge here.
I hope to spend as little time as possible in this airport in the future.
