This is my favorite bar in all of Las Vegas! It's off of the main Fremont strip, it's for locals more than it is for the tourists, and the moment you walk in there, the atmosphere at night imparts a cozy nostalgic feeling like you've stepped down into an underground pub in Ireland in the early 1900's.
I fell in love the moment we walked in and every year I come back and fall in love all over again. The aesthetic really makes you forget that you're in Vegas of all places and that just outside of that curtain is a street leading into one of the most busiest places in the states. I always feel like I'm in a bar in a cellar or beneath ground level.
The bartenders so far have always been just amazing. They're friendly, congenial, they joke around. I almost feel like if you don't have that kind of genuine personality, they will never hire you because their staff has always been top notch in my opinion.
As for the bar-goers, they seem pretty awesome too. I was around people my age who were just there for a drink and some socializing, not there to show up and glam out and be pretentious like at every other bar that's on the strip. The vibe is hip but mature. Absolutely my kind of bar.
I can't wait til I can visit again.
