My wife and signes up over last summer on a month to month basis. We liked the facilities and enjoyed going. Come September our schedules changed and we couldn't go so we decided to cancel since we did not have the time to go.
My wife went in and filled out the forms to cancel our memberships starting October. Come to find out the last couple weeks we began getting emails from their financial managers about our accounts being delinquent for the last few months.
I like how they are quick and nice to attract customers and be helpful but the minute you want out they "lose or don't have paperwork" for wanting out of your memberships.
So After being bombarded with threats of being sent to collections and filing with the Better Business Bureau (which they have an F score by the way if that tells you how much they care about their image or customers) I called today and was offered to close my account in good standing but I had to make a final payment of $120. All this has been BS and they're just a money hungry company like anyone else.
We haven't set foot in their gym for months so why charge someone? I only gave it two starts because they do have nice facilities but suck at customer relations.
Anyways, end rant.
