  • It turns out that all lenders are not created equal. Understanding what your lender can and can't do is key--but unfortunately this is something you learn as you go through the process. That is why it is so important to talk to people who have been through it. I started out with another lender who seemed to be giving me lots of excuses for why it wasn't out of UW, and blame was being thrown around, it was awful and it nearly cost me the home I was buying because they were taking so long to get it done(almost 2 months.) Luckily the seller knew Nina and had used her services in the past. Nina and her team took over my loan and got it closed in 12 days and that was during the New Year holiday! They were accessible, expedient, professional, and proactive--everything you need and want in a lender! Nina explained things every step of the way. Nina Brinkley is an outstanding loan officer and I will use her again!
