Really unique addition to the MetroPark system. It's very cool to still be able to make out the fairways and the sand traps. It is surprising how quickly nature has taken over and grown out the sand traps and water holes with plant life.
This is a very expansive park and while the road and traffic is visible from some areas the majority of the park makes you forget you are in the middle of a city - it's quiet too.
There are restrooms. There are also park benches throughout the entire park, including close to the parking lot so if you want to just stop in for a place to quick eat your lunch you can do that without having to walk too far.
All the paths are in good condition and they are all paved. There is a perimeter path as well as an internal path with many loops. Check out the image from Google's satellite maps that I posted. You can look at it here or even better look at it on your iPhone when you are there as you will then have the blue dot indicating your location. It is neat to see on the map what the golf course around you used to look like and it helps to know which path you are walking on.
