  • I signed up my dog Oliver, a Schnauzer Poodle mix for Petco's adult dog classes because he was aggressive with other dogs. When we arrived he couldn't meet or even walk by another dog without lunging, growling, snarling and barking. Keoni was amazing! Right off the bat he helped me calm down my high anxiety dog and take command of him while we were on walks. My nerves were making the issue worse because I was always worried baout his own safety and other dogs' safety, and Keoni helped give concrete steps/tasks that I could do to improve on my own. He also showed me how to properly introduce my dog to new dogs both on and off leash and how to politely correct him when he misbehaved. A few months out and Oliver is a different dog. He loves his daily visit to the dog park and always wants to meet new dogs. I would never have believed it was possible but I am so thankful for Petco and Keoni for helping me keep my dog and other dogs safe. Oliver is a happier, more well-adjusted dog and it never would have been possible without their help.
